Version 8.7.0 (Date: 30th June 2016)
  1. Purchase Order: Now you can create a new purchase order using an existing purchase order by copying it.
    (Purchase → Purchase Invoice / Challan / PO → View Purchase Order → Copy PO).
  2. In the Purchase Order, when you enter a rate for a particular product, you can now view its “Price History”. The price history shows details of the last 5 purchases of the selected product for your quick reference.
  3. Product Statement: Now you can view the product statement report across any financial year.

  1. Auto Purchase Order: Now you can create POs automatically from the minimum reorder level report. PO is generated using product’s minimum reorder level and the preferred vendor.

  1. Email settings: Now you can have separate email settings for different documents.

  1. From any print preview, you can save the documents in pdf.
  2. Email settings: The character limit of message body and subject of covering letter email is removed.

  3. Email attachment: Now the attachment format of the document changed from “.doc” to “.pdf”
  4. Stock Transfer: Now stock transfer note gives you the facility to select a BOM and transfer its constituents from one godown to another in a single click. No need to select items one by one.

  5. Sales Register (Invoice): Godown filter is added to this report. This helps to know all the invoices made from a selected godown.

  1. Facility to receive payment by credit cards and cheques is added to Point of Sales (POS). Now you can also receive partial payment by cash, credit card and cheque. It automatically reflects into appropriate bank statements.
  2. New report, “Counting Analysis” added. Using this report you can analyze manually counted stock over a selected period. One of the uses of this report is to know exactly which products are consistently missing from the inventory.

  3. New column “Net rate” added to the “Price History”. For quick analysis of purchase price, the price history is available right on the “add product” screen of purchase invoice.
  4. “Today’s Cash”, new quick view utility. You can quickly view today’s (or any given date) amount of cash received, paid and the balance.

  14. Printing:
    1. Now the printing screen is more user friendly.
    2. For printing invoices and challans, now you can set number of default copies.

  15. In sales statement, sales return statement, purchase statement, purchase return statement reports the “VAT Rate + Net Rate” column is renamed to “Net Rate with VAT”

  21. Fast selling products: In this report the choice of including pending challans is removed. Now by default the sales made through challans is included. This is logical since this report is about the quantity of the products sold.

  23. “About us” screen: The license tab is now more pleasant and easily readable.
  24. New utility, “Find Sold Product” added. Use this to find out quickly, details of all the invoices in which a product is sold to the selected customer. You can also find out products returned.

  25. New utility, “Find Purchased Product” added. Use this to find out quickly, details of all the invoices in which a product is purchased from the selected supplier. You can also find out products returned.

  26. POS (Point of sales):
    1. Printing on a 3” role: Balance label on the top is replaced by “Old balance”. At the bottom of the invoice “Total balance” is printed.
    2. The previous invoice selection screen now shows the latest invoices first. Now it’s easier to find out the invoices.
    3. Now the customer selection screen also shows their balances.
    4. New Ctrl+Shift+S shortcut added to toggle the printing preference. If you have selected to print the invoice every time you save the invoice, upon pressing Ctrl+Shift+S the invoice will not be saved and vice versa.
  27. Purchase challan: Now when you select product on “Add product screen”, its sales price is shown for the reference.

  28. Customer order form: This is a new report, useful for your customer to place his order. This report contain all the products your customer usually orders with blank quantity column. Customer fills the quantity column and sends it back to you.

  29. Purchase invoice / return: Now just place the mouse pointer over the “Amount” column and the total of all the rows (total basic amount) is shown. Similarly place the mouse pointer on “VAT Amount” column and the total of all the rows (total VAT applied) is shown.
  30. Sales invoice / return: Now just place the mouse pointer over the “Amount” column and the total of all the rows (total basic amount) is shown. It was already done for “VAT Amount” and “Total Discount” columns.
  31. Sales invoice: When product is selected on “Add product screen” its last 5 sales are shown in a table. A new column “net rate” is added to that table.
  32. Product’s profit / loss: To improve the accuracy of product's profit / loss calculation, now you can also add debit notes received from the supplier. This is done by selecting the relevant supplier account.

  33. New group / category / manufacturer reports:
    1. Compare sales: Use this report to compare the sales made by various groups / categories or manufacturers. It shows a list of groups / categories / manufacturers and their sales.

    2. Compare sales quantity: Use this report to compare the quantities of products sold across various groups / categories or manufacturers. It shows a list of groups / categories / manufacturers and their sales quantity.

  34. Record deleted transactions: This feature helps record all the deleted transactions and details of the user who deleted it, the reason and the time of deletion.
    1. This feature can be switched On and Off from settings screen
      (Settings → Other → Transactions → Record deleted transactions)
    2. Admin can view the deleted transactions at
      (Administration → Data Entry Analysis → Deleted Transactions)
  35. AXBO alerts and messaging:
    1. Alerts: Never miss important alerts about stock expiry / minimum reorder level, customer credit limit, deleted transactions etc.
      You can use access control for users to receive the alerts.
    2. Messaging: Send and receive important messages amongst all the users in real time.
    3. This feature can be switched On and Off from settings screen
      (Settings → Other → Other → AXBO alerts & messaging)
  36. Check for updates: Now you can check for AXBO Enterprise updates from within the software. The feature is available at (Help → Check for Updates).
    Even if you forget to check it, every time AXBO is started it automatically checks it for you. If the new version is available you are informed.
  37. New button “Send Email”: Now sales invoice, sales challan, purchase order, quotation and account statement can be directly emailed from the same screen.
  38. Now you can create registration masters (for example VAT, PAN etc.) Registrations created over here are offered on new customer / supplier screens.

  46. Quotation:
    1. The basic amount and total VAT amount is printed on the quotation.
    2. Default VAT application for the quotation can be set on the settings screen
      (Settings → Other → Other → Default VAT applicable for quotation)
  47. Jobs: Now you can create jobs. Jobs are created to manufacture a given BOM.
  48. BOM Expenses: Now in addition to products, you can also add expenses as constituents to a BOM definition. (For example electricity, man power etc.)
  49. Issue to Job Note:
    1. This note is used to issue products and expenses to a job.
    2. Now you can assign a particular godown to a role. Users can issue the products only from assigned godowns.
      (Settings → Inventory → Role Specific → Godown)
  50. Return form Job Note: This note is used to return the products issued to a job.
  51. Manufacturing Note:
    1. This note is used when the Job is finished and the required quantity of the BOM is manufactured.
    2. Switch is added to check if all the required products and expenses are issued or not before manufacturing note is created.
      The switch has following settings: Allow, Warn and Restrict.
  52. Job Statement: This report shows all the products and expenses, issues to and returned from the job along with the details of the issue and return notes.

  53. Job Comparison: This report shows the quantity of actual products and expenses issued to the job along with the standard quantity required to complete the job.

  54. Statewise Current Stock: This report shows current stock of the products in a given godown. The stock is sorted as available stock and the stock issued to a job.

  55. Job cost details: This report shows list of products and expenses issued to a job along with their prices. You can also change the prices from here. If the product issued is a BOM, then its price can be selected from its jobs.

  1. Auto Backup: One more option added to auto backup. Now you can set AXBO to take backup every time it shuts down.
  2. New reports:
    1. Sales register with products: This report shows list of all the cash / credit invoices. If detailed view is selected, it also shows all the products sold in those invoices.
    2. Sales return register with products: This report shows list of all the cash / credit return invoices. If detailed view is selected, it also shows all the products returned in those invoices.

    1. New interface for PO.

    3. Now you can link the PO with the challan. You can select a PO and “enter challan from PO”. All the items and their quantities in the PO are automatically added to the challan. It helps to find any discrepancies in the challan.
    4. Now the PO is moved from utilities to purchase menu.
  9. Quotation:
    1. New interface for quotation.
    2. Now you can add more information to quotation such as VAT, Discount, Delivery schedule, Delivery address, Transporter’s name and address, Payment terms, Additional charges etc.
  10. Bank reconciliation report: New “Particulars” column added. It shows account details.

  14. Now when you create a new product, last created product's basic unit and unit of its contents are automatically set.
  15. You can now set AXBO to lock the transactions automatically for every predefined number of days.

  17. You can now set AXBO to take a backup of your data automatically for every predefined number of days.

  23. We have added a “Quantity calculator” to Purchase Invoice, Challans and Goods Inward Note. Now you can easily enter products even when they are mentioned in different units than the ones you use.
  24. We have improved the filter on the table columns. Now to change the filter criteria of a single column, you don't need to remove already applied criteria.
  25. In the Goods Inward and Goods Outward Notes, you can now specify the product quantity in different units of the same unit family. (For example if the unit of the product is gm, you can enter the quantity as kg, mg etc.)
  26. When you make Sales / Purchase from Challan, the date and remark of the selected challan from which you are making the invoice is set to the invoice. If more than one challan is selected, the date and remark of the latest challan is set.
  27. On the product selection screen in Cash / Credit Sales Invoice and Sales Challan, new stock column is added. You can hide this column through the option in settings.
  28. On the batch selection screen in Cash / Credit Sales Invoice and Sales Challan, new stock column is added.

  33. New “Check Prices” feature added. You can use this feature to check if the prices of the products in all of your price lists are appropriate or not. For every product it checks that its price, in all the price lists is not below the maximum weighted average rate of the purchase on any given date. You can even correct the prices directly from here.

  46. Now the basic amount, total VAT amount, total discount and total amount is shown on the invoice printing.
  47. On the invoice and challan screens, when you move the mouse pointer over the discount and VAT amount columns, it shows sum of discounts and VAT applied on all the products for quick reference.

  1. When the sales price is lower than the purchase price, you now have the option to view the average purchase price directly in the warning message.
    (Settings → Invoice → Role specific settings → Show purchase information while making sales invoice)

  1. Sales Invoices: Toggle switch added for the discount column. You can use it to view the discount in amount or percentage on the fly. If you want to convert the discount in percentage to amount automatically whenever you save the invoice, there is a setting available for doing so.
    (Settings → Invoice → Common Settings → Sales / Purchase Settings → Always convert discounts from percentage to amount in sales invoice)
  2. Sales Invoices: New features added to the discount window. Now you can quickly view the discounts given for the selected product in the various price lists. You can change the discount or select from the other price lists. The discount window also shows the amounts after various discounts for quick analysis.
