Version 8.6.1 (Date: 31st October 2015)
  1. Email Settings: (Administration → Email Settings)
    1. You can define the covering letters for various documents (invoices, challans, account statement, PO and Quotations) and set those as defaults in settings.
      (Administration → Email Settings)
    2. You can have separate email settings for different documents.
    3. The character limit of message body and subject of covering letter email is removed.
    4. Now the attachment format of the document changed from ".doc" to ".pdf"
  2. From any print preview, you can save the documents in pdf.
  3. Sales Register (Invoice): Godown filter is added to this report. This helps to know all the invoices made from a selected godown.

  1. New button “Send Email”: Now sales invoice, sales challan, purchase order, quotation and account statement can be directly emailed from the same screen.
  2. New reports:
    1. Total Contents Sold.

  11. Sales Return:
    1. Doc. No.: Now you can enter the document number in a single text field. (Instead of two)
    2. VAT application options added: VAT Inclusive & Exclusive. Depending on the choice the VAT is auto calculated.
  12. Import Selling Price List: Now you can import prices into AXBO from the excel sheet.

  1. Facility to receive payment by credit cards and cheques is added to Point of Sales (POS). Now you can also receive partial payment by cash, credit card and cheque. It automatically reflects into appropriate bank statements.
  2. Bank reconciliation report: New “Particulars” column added. It shows account details.

  3. New report, “Counting Analysis” added. Using this report you can analyze manually counted stock over a selected period. One of the uses of this report is to know exactly which products are consistently missing from the inventory.

  4. New column “Net rate” added to the “Price History”. For quick analysis of purchase price, the price history is available right on the “add product” screen of purchase invoice.
  5. “Today’s Cash”, new quick view utility. You can quickly view today’s (or any given date) amount of cash received, paid and the balance.

  7. Customer / supplier statement: When “show products” option is selected, along with product name and quantity, now the net rate is also shown.

  8. Multiple hide / visible: Now multiple customers, suppliers and products which are no longer in use can be hidden / made visible in a single operation.

  9. “Net content report” in stock reports is renamed as “Stock in Net Contents”

  11. Purchase invoice: New setting “Clear last entered product in ‘Add product screen’” added. This setting is useful if you are adding same product with multiple batches. This setting is obviously available only for products having batches.

  12. Customer / Supplier & Bank: Now if you change the name of the customer, supplier or bank and do not change its account name, you are asked, “if you really want to do so?”.

  15. Credit period for customers and suppliers:
    1. Now you can set the credit period in days to customers and suppliers. This can be done when you create new customer / supplier or from their edit screen.
    2. While making sales (credit sales / sales invoice from challan) and entering purchase (credit purchase / purchase invoice from challan) the credit period is automatically set for the selected customer / supplier. You can change it, if you wish (the change is applicable to the current invoice only).
    3. This feature can be switched off from settings.

  16. New reports based on credit period of customers / suppliers:
    1. Customer invoice dues status: This report shows list of customers whose invoice is due in next given number of days. This report also shows list of customers whose invoice due date is passed.

    2. Supplier invoice dues status: This report shows list of suppliers whose invoice is due in next given number of days. This report also shows list of suppliers whose invoice due date is passed.

    3. Compare invoice dues: Using this report you can compare the amount of invoices due from customers and amount of invoices due to suppliers till given future date. You can use this information to arrange funds before the due date.

  17. Company registrations: Now company registrations are moved from company settings to create / edit company. Now it’s more convenient to add registrations to company.
  18. Settings screen changes:
    1. Taxes tab is moved under the invoice tab.
    2. Registrations are moved to create / edit company.
    3. The setting “Give warning of product batches soon to be expired, in sales” is removed from Invoice tab → Batch Expiry. Since it is very important, now it is not optional.
    4. The setting “Give warning of product batches soon to be expired, in inventory notes” is removed from Inventory tab. Since it is very important, now it is not optional.
  19. Printing:
    1. Now the printing screen is more user friendly.
    2. For printing invoices and challans, now you can set number of default copies.
      (Printing → Change Settings → Invoice → Preferences → No. of copies)
  20. In sales statement, sales return statement, purchase statement, purchase return statement reports the “VAT Rate + Net Rate” column is renamed to “Net Rate with VAT”

  21. Sales by average rate: In this report the column sequence is changed to increase the readability. Now the “Amount” column comes after “Average rate” column.

  23. Compare sales quantity: In this report the “Pending challans” switch is renamed to “Challans without invoices”.

  25. For greater readability the “Pending challans” is renamed to “Challans without invoices” in all the reports / screens.
  26. Fast selling products: In this report the choice of including pending challans is removed. Now by default the sales made through challans is included. This is logical since this report is about the quantity of the products sold.

  28. “About us” screen:
    1. The license tab is now more pleasant and easily readable.
    2. New add-ons tab added. This tab lists all the available add-ons to AXBO Professional and it shows their status, if they are activated or not.
  29. New utility, “Find Sold Product” added. Use this to find out quickly, details of all the invoices in which a product is sold to the selected customer. You can also find out products returned.

  30. New utility, “Find Purchased Product” added. Use this to find out quickly, details of all the invoices in which a product is purchased from the selected supplier. You can also find out products returned.

  31. POS (Point of sales):
    1. Printing on a 3” role: Balance label on the top is replaced by “Old balance”. At the bottom of the invoice “Total balance” is printed.
    2. The previous invoice selection screen now shows the latest invoices first. Now it’s easier to find out the invoices.
    3. Now the customer selection screen also shows their balances.
    4. New Ctrl+Shift+S shortcut added to toggle the printing preference. If you have selected to print the invoice every time you save the invoice, upon pressing Ctrl+Shift+S the invoice will not be saved and vice versa.
  32. Purchase challan: Now when you select product on “Add product screen”, its sales price is shown for the reference.

  33. Customer order form: This is a new report, useful for your customer to place his order. This report contain all the products your customer usually orders with blank quantity column. Customer fills the quantity column and sends it back to you.

  34. Purchase invoice / return: Now just place the mouse pointer over the “Amount” column and the total of all the rows (total basic amount) is shown. Similarly place the mouse pointer on “VAT Amount” column and the total of all the rows (total VAT applied) is shown.
  35. Sales invoice / return: Now just place the mouse pointer over the “Amount” column and the total of all the rows (total basic amount) is shown. It was already done for “VAT Amount” and “Total Discount” columns.
  36. Sales invoice: When product is selected on “Add product screen” its last 5 sales are shown in a table. A new column “net rate” is added to that table.
  37. Product’s profit / loss: To improve the accuracy of product's profit / loss calculation, now you can also add debit notes received from the supplier. This is done by selecting the relevant supplier account.

  38. New group / category / manufacturer reports:
    1. Compare sales: Use this report to compare the sales made by various groups / categories or manufacturers. It shows a list of groups / categories / manufacturers and their sales.

    2. Compare sales quantity: Use this report to compare the quantities of products sold across various groups / categories or manufacturers. It shows a list of groups / categories / manufacturers and their sales quantity.

    3. Compare purchase: Use this report to compare the purchase made by various groups / categories or manufacturers. It shows a list of groups / categories / manufacturers and their purchases.

    4. Compare purchase quantity: Use this report to compare the quantities of products purchased across various groups / categories or manufacturers. It shows a list of groups / categories / manufacturers and their purchase quantity.

  39. Add-ons: Add-ons are modules which provide unique functionality and can be added separately as per your requirements, to your existing AXBO Professional. They increase the power of your AXBO Professional and can be bought separately. With this version we have released following add-ons and more will be added soon.
    1. Record deleted transactions: This module helps record all the deleted transactions and details of the user who deleted it, the reason and the time of deletion.
      1. Once activated you can switch on / off this module through settings.
        (Settings → Add-ons → Record deleted transactions)
      2. Admin can view the deleted transactions at
        (Administration → Data Entry Analysis → Deleted Transactions)
    2. AXBO alerts and messaging:
      1. Alerts: Never miss important alerts about stock expiry / minimum reorder level, customer credit limit, customer / supplier invoice dues, deleted transactions etc.
        You can use access control for users to receive the alerts.
      2. Messaging: Send and receive important messages amongst all the users in real time.
      3. Once activated you can switch on / off this module through settings.

    3. Ratio Analysis: Quickly know the health of your business. Ratios for following groups: Capital Structure, Liquidity, Profitability and Turnover. Total 34 ratios. Nice 2D and 3D pie charts for all the ratios.

  40. Check for updates: Now you can check for AXBO Professional updates from within the software. The feature is available at (Help → Check for Updates).
    Even if you forget to check it, every time AXBO is started it automatically checks it for you. If the new version is available you are informed.

  14. You can now set AXBO to lock the transactions automatically for every predefined number of days.

  23. We have improved the filter on the table columns. Now to change the filter criteria of a single column, you don't need to remove already applied criteria.
  24. In the Goods Inward and Goods Outward Notes, you can now specify the product quantity in different units of the same unit family. (For example if the unit of the product is gm, you can enter the quantity as kg, mg etc.)
  25. When you make Sales / Purchase from Challan, the date and remark of the selected challan from which you are making the invoice is set to the invoice. If more than one challan is selected, the date and remark of the latest challan is set.
  26. On the product selection screen in Cash / Credit Sales Invoice and Sales Challan, new stock column is added. You can hide this column through the option in settings.
  27. On the batch selection screen in Cash / Credit Sales Invoice and Sales Challan, new stock column is added.

  33. For Credit Purchase Return, on the product entry screen new “Show Purchase Details” button added. You can use this button to check the purchase details of the batch of the product being returned.
  34. New “Check Prices” feature added. You can use this feature to check if the prices of the products in all of your price lists are appropriate or not. For every product it checks that its price, in all the price lists is not below the maximum weighted average rate of the purchase on any given date. You can even correct the prices directly from here.
  35. Improved “Manual stock counting and Verification”.

  1. Vouchers: Now vouchers can be entered more efficiently. The voucher screen remains open for the next voucher entry, once the current voucher is saved.

  3. Purchase / Sales Invoice from Challan: Now you can make invoices from single challans very fast. Simply select the challan and press enter or double click on the selected challan to open the invoice with all the items from challan directly added to it.
  4. Sales Invoices: Toggle switch added for the discount column. You can use it to view the discount in amount or percentage on the fly. If you want to convert the discount in percentage to amount automatically whenever you save the invoice, there is a setting available for doing so.

  3. Customer Wise Profit: New report added. It shows a list of customers and the profit earned from them over a given period of time.

  1. Now you can export the pre printed stationery settings of the selected role and also import into the selected role.

  5. Copy company: Now when you copy the masters to create new company, you can also copy the roles and their permissions.
  6. Quotation, Purchase Order & Sales Order:

    3. These documents can be searched from Quick → Utilities → Search Documents.
    4. These documents are also shown in the Accounting → Accounting Reports → Day Book.

  7. The 'assistant' user name is changed to 'data backup' user.
  8. The list of voucher series also shows all the documents in which it is used.
  9. When the invoice is made from POS, you can print the closing balance of the customer on the 3” role.
    Go to Setting → Printing → Invoice
  10. Now when user is created, you are immediately prompted to assign the role.
  11. Roles: Now you can create roles separately just like customer categories and use it while creating customers and suppliers.
  12. Now you can easily edit the role for multiple customers.

  13. BOM: Now there is option to view defined and undefined BOMs separately.
  14. Quick: Now balance of any type of account can be viewed quickly on the same screen. Go to Quick → Balance.

  17. Sales / Purchase invoices: The user interface is improved.
  18. Current stock: New button “Total Quantity” is added to this report. It shows total quantity of all the products grouped by the units.

    1. Purchase Register (Vouchers): This report is created from purchase vouchers. It shows list of purchase vouchers and the other accounts in the voucher with the detailed amount.

  25. Product entry: Now the last entered product code can be shown while creating the new product.

  1. Daily Stock Movement: New column (‘Stock’) added. It shows the stock of the product after the particular transaction.

  1. Sales Challan and Receipt Voucher: Now sales challans and receipt vouchers can also have pre printed stationery.

  6. Sales / Purchase Invoices: If VAT is applied, the summary of VAT is shown in new format. e.g: VAT: 5% (100.00) = 5 (The basic amount on which VAT is applied is also printed.)
